Aslan has been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. At the age of 1.5, the boy lost his speech and eye contact, which became a real ordeal for him and his family.
As part of this rehabilitation course, Aslan worked with specialists in AVA therapy, adaptive physical education, sensory integration, and a speech therapist. Thanks to the well-coordinated work of specialists, the child has achieved significant success and advanced in his development!
A new stage of an alternative communication system has been introduced to the boy using special PECs cards, now it is easier for him to express his requests and desires, to adapt in communication. Aslan became calmer, more persevering, more patient and more disciplined.
The child's sensory and physical skills have improved. Aslan learned to identify objects by touch – by their shape, size, and texture. The boy especially enjoyed working with an adaptive sports coach – now Aslan can ride a bike without support!
With your help, Aslan has completed an intensive rehabilitation course! Thank you very much!
