Your help was sent to Hirachimagomed, who is 6 years old. The boy did not respond to the name, avoided eye contact and showed no emotion. Experts have diagnosed autism.
During the rehabilitation, the AVA specialist taught the boy to accurately correlate 12 colors and shades, and the skill of choosing a stimulus and encouragement was also consolidated after successfully completing two or three instructions in a row. Work continued on the training of a special communication system using PECS cards. Now it has become much easier for a child to inform adults about their desires and needs.
Hirachimagomed's speech skills also improved, and he practiced the correct (clear and loud) pronunciation of sounds and simple words with a speech therapist. The boy also learned the ratio of words in sentences - the correct endings of verbs and adjectives. As a result of the course, contact was established between the child and specialists, Hirachimagomed became more obedient, attentive and focused on completing tasks.
An adaptive physical education instructor and a sensory integration specialist taught the boy how to work out on a treadmill and an exercise bike, keep his balance on a balance beam and follow instructions while standing on it, jump, throw a ball and even ride a scooter!
