Angela from Vladikavkaz is only 35 years old. She works as a kindergarten teacher. Her large, friendly family includes her parents, two brothers and two sisters. Angela is happily married. Life was going her way, she and her husband were planning to have a child.
Until in 2023 during the long-awaited pregnancy, having passed the tests doctors did not sound the alarm because of a sharp increase in leukocytes. The diagnosis of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia literally knocked the ground out from under their feet. This diagnosis was incompatible with pregnancy. It was urgent to start Angela's treatment and save her life.
From the very beginning Angela was treated at home, in North Ossetia, but there were no positive results. Now she is in the Almazov National Medical Center in St. Petersburg, where another course of chemotherapy has been completed. Taking into account the unsuccessful treatment at the first stages, now Angela needs a course of expensive medication. Neither she and her husband nor her family can buy it on their own. All the funds were spent during the previous two years of treatment.
