When a child's legs are not working properly, it is difficult for them to simply stand or not to fall when they first try to walk. Such children need orthoses - special devices that support the legs, fix the joints, reduce pain and help the body move correctly.
High-quality orthoses are expensive. And children from low-income families are often left without them. Because in families where the income is barely enough for food, there is no way to save money for individual orthoses.
How it works:
— we purchase special materials
— our partners, a prosthetic and orthopedic enterprise, take on the task of making orthoses for free. This is their contribution to the common cause;
— thus, for the amount that usually goes towards one complex individual orthosis, we can help several beneficiaries quickly, specifically, and effectively.
This project is more than targeted assistance. It is about uniting efforts: craftsmen, the foundation, and you — our donors. Everyone does their part so that one by one, children receive support, and therefore, a chance to stand up and move forward.Let's create a miracle for children together!
