You helped the art studio for people with developmental disabilities in the residential care facility continue its work!

Thank you all for supporting our project! Thanks to you, the Perspektivy Art Studio for people with severe disabilities continues its work. This means our participants can create art, develop their talents and abilities, and feel valued and fulfilled — instead of spending their days aimlessly within the walls of a psycho-neurological institution. According to the Russian Ministry of Labor, only about one-third of people with disabilities in Russia have any form of employment, and many who could work are legally declared incapable. Yet, thanks to the efforts of charitable organizations, people with disabilities are finding ways to work despite all the barriers. Among them is Alexey, an artist from the Perspektivy Art Studio. Alexey has been declared legally incapable, has limited hearing, and communicates mostly through gestures and facial expressions. Despite this, he is well-adapted: he manages his behavior, takes care of himself and his belongings, and handles everyday life independently. Alexey works as a graphic artist, builds models from various materials, and has recently become passionate about photography and videography. He has his own distinctive style and dedicates nearly all his time to creative work. With your support, we can keep making life better for people with disabilities living in institutions. Thank you!
