Kavsarat is 5 years old, she has autism! From a very young age, at 1.5 years old, her parents noticed that she was lagging behind her peers in development. The lack of understanding and speech became an alarming signal for them. In search of help, they began a long journey of treatment and rehabilitation.
In public places, Kavsarat's behavior can change: sometimes she reacts calmly to others, and sometimes, feeling uncomfortable among a large number of people, she begins to scream excitedly. She prefers solitude and does not pay attention to other children. Active games such as catch-up and hide-and-seek bring her joy. She loves the water, hiking and riding the carousels — these are the moments when her eyes shine with happiness. However, it is difficult for her to sit still: cinemas and kindergarten do not arouse her interest.
Despite all the difficulties, Kavsarat is making significant strides forward. She can assemble puzzles with a little help, counts to 10, and dresses with support. But the girl is still unable to eat or wash on her own, does not understand requests, does not know how to draw.
In order for Kavsarat to improve her communication and self-service skills, as well as expand her vocabulary, she needs the help of specialized specialists, the development of an individual development program, as well as hyperbaric oxygen therapy sessions.
Your help can be the light that will open up new horizons for this amazing girl and give her hope for a better future.
