He smiles, plays with his brother and sister and loves fairy tales and pictured books. But the disease is still there. Cardiomyopathy is a pathology that affects the heart muscle. Without proper therapy, a child with this diagnosis can experience cardiac arrest at any moment. Amir needs to pass through a complex examination: whole exome sequencing to choose the right treatment strategy and understand the causes of the disease.
