Arina has completed the crucial genetic test

Arina was born healthy, but at just 3.5 months old, she began experiencing strange spasms that looked like colic. The episodes became more frequent, and after an EEG monitoring, doctors diagnosed her with epilepsy. Further tests, including CT and MRI scans, revealed a brain malformation—lissencephaly, a condition where the brain's folds and grooves are underdeveloped. Despite this difficult diagnosis, Arina is a joyful and smiling little girl. She loves cartoons and playing with her older brother. Now two years old, she crawls on her belly and is learning to sit up, but she hasn’t started speaking yet and struggles to chew solid food. Arina's older brother believes that his sister will definitely get better. Their parents are doing everything possible to help their daughter. Right now, it's important to undergo testing: a complete genome sequencing to identify any mutations. This research will provide a chance to select the correct treatment for Arina and improve the girl's quality of life.
