Lesha is 6 years old, he is a smiling and cheerful boy. Despite the complex form of cerebral palsy, epilepsy and related diseases, he has his own little joys. Petting a dog, watching cartoons, walking outside in good weather, swinging on a swing and, of course, hugging his beloved mommy!
Elena does not work because she spends all her time with her son, because he does not walk, does not sit and cannot take care of himself yet. His father helps occasionally. Moving to the capital gave good results for the child: it was possible to stop epilepsy, perform an operation on his legs, after which they stopped hurting, and find good rehabilitation specialists.
Rehabilitation specialists highly appreciate Lesha's potential: he will be able to sit without support and control the wheelchair himself, eat independently, type on a special keyboard - and this means a maximally socialized life!
What we perceive as routine – going for a walk wherever you want, eating what you want, talking about your desires – is still a goal of the future for Lesha. Let's help him realize it and complete the necessary course of exercise therapy.
