Despite all the trials the boy has already endured, Seema is very cheerful and upbeat. Semyoma's first word was not "Mom" and "Dad," but "Go!" These words became a motto for Semyon and his family in life - to go forward, no matter what, they just go their own way, in small steps, but forward and only forward!
The next step for Semen is to learn to stand. Because of the diagnosis he cannot master this skill by himself, he needs a special trainer - a standing machine.
The ability to stand on a special support will improve the physical condition of the child, the condition of his respiratory and excretory systems, will serve as a prevention of osteoporosis, and will avoid contractures of the joints and as a result, surgical intervention. It is impossible to get a vertical wheelchair from the state because it is not included in the individual rehabilitation program.
Semen's family turned to our foundation for help in acquiring a vertical wheel. This expensive rehabilitation device is beyond the means of a family with many children.
