Anatoly received the medicine, but the disease proved stronger

Anatoly is a long–distance truck driver. He is now 63 years old and lives in Tolyatti. But he was born in the Penza region, in a large family with five more children. Anatoly started working at the age of 13. In 2018, he experienced a deterioration in his health – his hemoglobin dropped, and it became difficult to work. But it wasn't until 2023 that the reason became clear: Anatoly was diagnosed with Acute myeloblastic leukemia. At first, the treatment took place in Tolyatti, and remission was achieved. But it didn't last long–just a few months. Then the blasts were found in the bone marrow again. Anatoly took the disease and treatment calmly and courageously undergoes treatment, which sometimes takes all his remaining strength. Anatoly now needs two expensive anticancer drugs, which can lead to a longer remission. Anatoly dreams of returning home again, and if his health permits, get behind the wheel again.
