Karina is a focused and hardworking 9th-grade student who takes great interest in studying with her tutors. Thanks to regular lessons, her confidence has grown noticeably—and she’s even started to enjoy subjects she used to struggle with.
“Writing essays in Russian used to be really hard for me, but with my tutor, everything became clear. We practiced a lot, and now I know how to structure them properly. I make fewer mistakes, and I feel more confident,” Karina shares.
“In English lessons, we often speak, and that helps me talk without fear. My tutor always supports me and explains the rules. Now I understand grammar better and I’m not afraid to answer in class.”
“Math used to seem very difficult,” Karina admits. “But my tutor showed me how to solve problems step by step. We practiced a lot, and now I’ve even started to enjoy math!”
The "Our Children" foundation helps kids like Karina close gaps in their studies and prepare for exams by paying for tutoring. This gives children not only knowledge, but also faith in their own strengths, and therefore a chance for a successful future.
The lessons paid for by the foundation are often the only opportunity for our wards to improve their knowledge, enter colleges and universities, and become successful adults.
