Umar has an autism spectrum disorder and delayed speech development. By the age of 2, the boy began to cry, scream and bang his head frequently, and lost his words and understanding of spoken speech. The parents contacted various specialists, but there was no result.
Umar's rehabilitation included a range of classes and hardware procedures. The child regularly studied with specialists in AВA therapy, sensory integration, adaptive physical education and with a speech therapist. The boy also underwent a course of hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which, combined with the classes, helped him achieve developmental success!
During the lessons, Umar's ability to distinguish verbs improved, his repertoire in the noun category expanded, and his passive vocabulary became more diverse and functional. It has become easier for the child to point out the correct answer to questions such as: "What?", "What?", "Where?". Work continued on the formation of speech skills – the boy learned the correct pronunciation of sounds.
Thanks to sensory integration and adaptive sports classes, Umar began to feel his body better in space, and learned how to perform new exercises with and without equipment. The child also has improvements in the development of tactile, auditory and visual perception.
Thanks to your help, Umar completed a rehabilitation course for free! Thank you very much!
