Mikhail Dolganov is a long-awaited and desired child, but from birth his life became a test. Misha didn’t respond to his name, didn’t speak a single word and didn’t play with toys like other children. His mom sounded the alarm, but the pediatrician just said: “Everything’s fine, don’t worry.” Yet “fine” never came. At the age of 2 years and 6 months the boy received his first diagnoses: minimal brain dysfunction, delayed speech and mental development, and dysarthria. In 2020 the family’s life changed forever – Misha was registered with a psychiatrist and neurologist, receiving the status of a child with disabilities.
