Artem Sasin was born in time via cesarean section. It seemed the worst was over. But the baby's umbilical wound wouldn't heal, requiring surgery. Then came months of anxiety as the anesthesia caused complications, and Artem began to lag behind in development. He only learned to walk at 1 year and 5 months. Now, at the age of 10, he run, play, and is physically developed, but doesn't speak - only making sounds and babbling. Doctors diagnosed him with severe delayed psycho-speech development (DPSD) and autistic traits.
Artem understands everything, knows letters, can count to 40, and loves cartoons and books. Doctors are confident: the boy has a real chance to speak! Every rehabilitation course brings small breakthroughs. After persistent therapy sessions, Artem has started saying his first words: "meow," "give," "go," and "mama."
Artem's family lives in a dormitory and is raising two children (his older sister also has a disability). They can't afford another rehabilitation course on their own. Every donation you make is a step toward helping Artem find his voice!
Your contribution will also help partially pay the work of Movement Up Foundation administration staff.
