At the age of five, Katya was left completely alone. When her mother was deprived of parental rights, her younger brothers were taken away by their father's relatives, and she was sent to an orphanage. Separation from her brothers was a huge trauma for her: the girl stopped talking, she began to wet herself. Doctors made diagnoses, but no one believed that Katya could become an ordinary child again.
Until Irina and Victor appeared in her life.
They were dissuaded: "She is unteachable", "She has autism", "You can't handle it". But they believed - in Katya, in her future, in the fact that love and safety can heal even the deepest wounds. And a miracle happened: as soon as the girl felt that she was truly loved, words began to return to her.
Katya will soon go to school, but she needs help. The neuropsychologist who works with her says: the girl has great potential, but it is important to consolidate her progress now. The classes are expensive, and without them it will be very difficult for Katya - she is only just starting to catch up.
Let's help Katya and other adopted children believe in themselves and continue their vitally important classes with a neuropsychologist.
