Dear friends, our fundraising campaign has been successfully completed! Your support is directly changing the lives of little Angelina and the other children in our care. Thanks to you, we've paid for a professional nanny who now cares for Gela 24/7 at the Maternity and Childhood Center.
For a girl who has been in hospitals without her parents since birth, this care is more than just care, but a whole world full of discoveries. Now, she's being treated for a complex illness with love and attention. The nanny is always nearby: she assists during treatments, plays with her, and, especially important for the nimble and resourceful Gela, introduces her to the world around her, allowing her to touch and explore everything.
Your compassion has created a haven of safety and development for Angelina and another child. A constant, loving adult nearby is the foundation that gives them the strength to fight illnesses, remain cheerful, and explore life with confidence.
