Meet Vitya Chernushkin from Norilsk - he has already done his homework and will probably go and play computer games. An ordinary evening for an ordinary boy - except that each of the activities so familiar to us is a real challenge for him.
Vitya has bullous epidermolysis. Children suffering from this disease, called the "butterflies": a romantic name for a terrible disease that makes the child is not even able to play - even just sharp movements forced to avoid. Otherwise - a bubble will form, which will turn into an open wound.
Every day for Viti is a struggle. Pain haunts him constantly - whether it itching, which does not help medicine, or the agony of bandaging, which must be done constantly.
But Vitya is a strong boy and he bravely overcomes all the obstacles that life puts in front of him. He studies with honors, this year he is finishing the music school, class of piano, and in the fall he wants to go on courses in programming.
And he has a dream - to learn to walk. Right now he has to grab onto furniture and walls to stay on his feet - not an easy fate for a little outgoing boy who also wants to play with his friends. Reach the goal incredibly hard - but it's possible. And you can help Vita along the way. He needs orthoses - these are devices made individually for the boy, allowing him to stand firmly on his feet. And he also needs special bandages that protect his delicate skin and allow it to breathe at the same time.
