Muslim has childhood autism. At the age of 1.5, he withdrew into himself, stopped responding to the addressed speech, fell silent and began to avoid crowded places.
As part of this rehabilitation course, Muslim attended daily classes with a behavioral analyst (AVA therapy), a speech therapist, a speech pathologist, as well as a specialist in sensory integration and an adaptive physical education coach.
The specialists worked together to establish cooperation and leadership control, teach the concept of "First-then", "Wait" instructions, and develop joint attention. Thanks to this, Muslim became calmer, began to complete tasks for a longer time without interruptions and encouragement.
There is also a positive trend in the development of the child's sensorimotor perception. Coordination of movements, tactile and proprioceptive sensitivity of the boy improved. In adaptive sports classes, Muslim worked to improve his endurance, practiced with various equipment, and even learned how to ride a bike!
Thank you to everyone who helped Muslim to undergo an intensive rehabilitation course!
