During childbirth, Timur Titarenko suffered from oxygen starvation; in the first minutes of life, the child did not cry. Time passed, and the parents began to notice that Timur was lagging behind his peers: he did not begin to hold his head up, crawl, or sit. At 1.5 years he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Since then, mom and dad have been doing everything possible to restore their son's health: they go to rehabilitation, undergo treatment, and consult doctors all over the country.
At the age of six, Timur took his first uncertain, but independent steps. But a few years later, adolescence occurred, and with it a growth spurt.
Now Timur walks unsteadily, often falls on level ground. Doctors recommend wearing long orthoses to fix his legs in the correct position. Without these devices, Timur will experience painful deformation of the feet. The child's individual rehabilitation program only includes ankle braces, and it is impossible to get orthoses from the state in the next six months. Waiting is too dangerous.
In September Timur will go to fifth grade. He loves reading poetry and listening to music.
