Alena is 8 years old. She has cerebral palsy, level 4 spastic diplegia, substitution hydrocephalus and congenital subluxation of the hips.
Alena was born prematurely, weighing only 1200 grams, with severe respiratory problems and damage to the central nervous system. She underwent many surgeries, long-term treatment, rehabilitation courses and constant examinations.
Now Alena lives with her only guardian - she is an orphan. We try to do everything possible to preserve and improve her skills, because without regular help they are quickly lost.
Alena needs another course at the Adeli Rehabilitation Center (Penza). There, she will work with specialists in exercise therapy, massage, occupational therapy, a speech therapist, a neuropsychologist - all in a complex, which gives a chance to strengthen muscles, reduce spasticity, improve coordination and quality of life.
