Regular food is not suitable for them: it only increases the pain. For such cats, a special one is needed — a therapeutic one. It is gently absorbed, does not irritate the stomach and helps to restore strength. More than 4 kg of such food is consumed every day at the shelter. It is eaten by "beginners" — they need to restore the digestive tract and then they switch to a regular diet, as well as animals with already chronic diseases that need only therapeutic food.
