The Eco-Community Forum was successfully held in Samara – the first time it was held outside of a capital city, on the picturesque banks of the Volga River. The Forum brought together 177 environmental leaders from 20 regions of Russia, inspired by a common goal: to make our world more environmentally friendly.
As always, the Forum provided a platform for experienced activists to share knowledge, inspire newcomers, and generate ideas through brainstorming and networking. Over two days of intensive work, more than 20 sessions, lectures, and discussions took place. Ten eco-projects were presented at the fair, and eight projects shared their developments at a workshop. This year's Forum was notable for its first fashion show by an eco-designer.
The Forum organizers used the funds raised on Tooba to purchase healthy snacks for participants: pastila, nuts, chocolate, and fruit. A coffee break created an informal space for exchanging ideas and networking, fostering an atmosphere of cooperation and mutual support, key to the eco-community. We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who contributed to organizing the forum and coffee break!
