Usman is 6 years old. After a year, the boy stopped looking into the eyes, did not respond to the name and did not contact the children. The kid did not speak and did not understand the addressed speech, showed self-aggression. Usman did not play, just turned the wheel of the car and put the toys in a row.
During the intensive course, the specialists actively worked to develop the following skills in Usman: introducing requests, establishing managerial control, and improving visual perception. The child also learned to distinguish new items by categories, functions and characteristics, and sort them into several baskets.
Usman became more disciplined, began to better understand the spoken language and show interest in classes. Now the boy can follow many instructions both with the use of objects (for example, "put down a cube" or "take a card"), and without, to fulfill the requests of teachers.
Special attention was also paid to developing Usman's attentiveness and improving his behavior. As part of this course, the boy underwent a course of hyperbaric oxygen therapy. These procedures, combined with daily activities, helped to reduce excessive activity in the child and normalize his psychophysiological state.
Thank you to everyone who helped Usman to undergo an intensive rehabilitation course!
