After rehabilitation, Maryam's speech has improved noticeably!

Thanks to your support, Maryam underwent hearing and speech rehabilitation. Intensive classes with a team of specialists helped the girl, who hears with the help of a cochlear implant, to improve her grammar and master new speech skills.    Three-year-old Maryam only heard this world for the first time a year and a half ago. Doctors installed a cochlear implant in one ear, and after connecting the processor, the girl began regular classes with a sign language specialist and at home with her mother. Zubeida struggled daily for every sound and word of Maryam. And the process started: her daughter started talking! But first, with a lot of errors and inconsistencies. Intensive specialized rehabilitation was needed to improve the grammatical basis of speech and eliminate errors.   "As soon as my daughter and I arrived at the center, specialists (a speech pathologist, speech therapist, sign language teacher, and others) identified the spectrum of speech disorders and compiled a program of individual classes. The lessons were intense and effective. Thank you for giving Maryam the opportunity to reach a new level of speech development so quickly," Zubeida says.   During the classes, the specialists of the reacenter focused on grammar: they worked a lot with cases, endings and genders. Even during the lessons, they paid great attention to the ability to answer questions with a full sentence, the ability to describe subjects, and worked on attentiveness and logical thinking. As a result, Maryam's speech became better: independent reasoning and better inclusion in dialogues appeared.
