Sofia underwent long-term video EEG monitoring and consultation with an epileptologist

Sofia's family has been waiting a long time for a daughter. After the birth of two sons, pregnancy was planned and desired. However, premature birth led to severe consequences for the girl. She was born with hypoxia and an intrauterine infection. At two months, the girl began having seizures. An examination revealed a whole range of serious diagnoses: a congenital brain defect, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy. The family was forced to move from Novy Urengoy to the Moscow region, as there were no necessary specialists in their city. The girl cannot sit, crawl, walk or talk on her own. Despite this, she has undergone many rehabilitation courses. Thanks to her hard work, Sofia has already been able to achieve significant results, but Sofia's entire progress is at risk due to the incessant epileptic seizures. Anticonvulsant therapy requires constant and expensive monitoring. Now it is necessary to conduct long-term video-EEG monitoring and pay for a consultation with an epileptologist to correct the treatment.
