Abubakr is 11 years old. The parents noticed their son's unusual behavior in early childhood, constant anxiety, moods, and sleep problems. The boy was diagnosed with atypical autism. By the age of four, the situation began to change: Abubakr started talking. The first timid words were a long-awaited breakthrough.
During the rehabilitation course, the child was engaged daily with specialized specialists, namely, in AVA therapy, sensory integration, adaptive physical education and with a speech therapist-defectologist. Abubakr also underwent hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The combination of classes and hardware procedures helped the boy to master new skills and advance in his development!
First of all, teachers worked on the child's behavior, his mental and emotional state. By the end of the course, Abubakr became much more diligent, calmer and more patient. Now the child knows how to "sit beautifully" during class, has learned to wait his turn in social and board games, for example, "lotto". It became easier for him to perceive new information, and his understanding of spoken speech improved.
The specialists also worked on the development of Abubakr's speech, academic and sensory skills. The boy learned how to hold a pen correctly, outline letters and numbers, and stroke. The child's tactile, visual and auditory perception improved, and the vestibular apparatus stabilized. And with the adaptive sports coach, Abubakr learned new exercises with special equipment!
