It can be difficult to cope with math or Russian at school. Children from orphanages especially need the support of tutors. Often, children come to school with large gaps in their knowledge due to a difficult life situation. That is why the Arithmetic of Good foundation created the CHANCE program - it gives children the opportunity to study with experienced teachers online, improve their basic subjects, prepare for exams and, step by step, believe in themselves.
For example, Nastya, an eighth-grader from the Komi Republic, has been studying in the program since the fall of 2024: she studies math, Russian, physics and chemistry. In the orphanage, she is interested in choreography, performs at concerts and dreams of a future in a creative profession or law. The support of the program helps her not to get lost in her studies and look forward more boldly.
Now, at the beginning of a new school year, it is especially important to give children a chance at education.
