Manisa has a complication due to a genetic disease. She needs to come for finger separation surgery and bandaging under anesthesia.

Manisa is 10 years old. She is a very lively and inquisitive girl: she loves to draw, read and go to school to chat with friends and participate in holidays with classmates. But a serious skin disease, epidermolysis bullosa (EB), imposes its own limitations. With this diagnosis, due to a genetic mutation, the skin does not produce proteins that "stitch" through all its layers. Because of this, the skin and mucous membranes can literally separate out of the blue with the formation of severe wounds. Sooner or later, this leads to complications. Hands are especially often affected: against the background of permanent wounds, the fingers gradually grow together and the hand becomes encased in a skin cocoon, like a mitten. This disaster also happened to Manisa. The girl was scheduled to undergo surgery to separate her fused fingers. Further, in order for her hands to heal properly, her fingers to function normally, and Manisa to be able to write and draw again, a dressing is needed, which, in fact, is also a surgical procedure – it is performed under general anesthesia. To pay for a hospital stay, anesthesia, and a round trip, funds are required that Manisa's family does not have.
