Roman was born on March 15, 2016. The only and very long-awaited child in the family. A complete diagnosis at birth is a perinatal hypoxic lesion of the central nervous system, hyperexcitability syndrome.
Up to a year, the child grew normally and developed the consequences of the birth trauma began to tell later. At the age of three, Roma was diagnosed with delayed mental and speech development and early childhood autism. Now Roma is 5 years old and he does not speak, he cannot serve himself and does not perceive the speech addressed to him well. The child's development is hampered by the presence of epilepsy. Epileptiform activity is concentrated in the frontal-central-temporal region on the left.
Now Roma is undergoing a course of medication for epilepsy, but in addition to taking medications, an intensive rehabilitation course is necessary. Roma is a very active child, loves to walk, play and loves to communicate with other children. But his illness prevents him from communicating and playing with other children. Children laugh at him, because he can't talk and can behave in accordance with the situation, communication skills are broken. Roma also has impaired muscle function, very weak arm muscles and high muscle tone of the legs ("tiptoe gait"). The help of specialists is required.
