Narek has had a PET-CT scan!

Narek is fifteen years old, a sociable and active young man. He draws beautifully and does well in school. He's also always ready to help others: helping a friend explain a difficult school topic, feeding homeless animals, or simply brightening their day with his smile. He loves life and knows how to enjoy every day. In April 2021, Narek noticed swelling in his cheek. His parents initially consulted a dentist, but the condition turned out to be much more serious. After a series of examinations, the boy was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma. Narek courageously endured rigorous treatment: surgery to remove the tumor, nine courses of chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. Narek won – he achieved long-awaited remission! Such diseases require dynamic monitoring; the boy undergoes a full checkup once a year. Narek does not have Russian citizenship, so all tests are paid for. To confirm remission, the boy needs a full-body PET/CT scan. His parents, who have been battling their son's illness for many years, are turning to us for help.
