To take a stone and cut off what is superfluous from it. To reveal to the world a new view and thoughts - to declare oneself. This is the dream of ten-year-old Vanya Voropinov. He sees himself as a sculptor in the future. In the meantime, he sculpts from plasticine and builds from lego, creating his own personal universe. The one where there is no more illness - only creativity, communication, new friends, and a happy mother by his side.
Vanya has a rare genetic anomaly: two synchronous oncological diseases - acute lymphoblastic leukemia and glioblastoma (brain tumor).
Once in the clinic for initial treatment, Vanya underwent chemotherapy and went into remission. After that he was transferred to the neurosurgery department, where the brain tumor was removed. Then there was radiation therapy, immunotherapy, repeated surgery and infection with coronavirus. The complication was bilateral pneumonia. These unimaginable even for an adult, Vanya endured these ordeals with unwavering steadfastness.
After repeated surgery to remove a brain tumor, Vanya cannot walk. He is not giving up and is still rehabilitating himself. He is in need of a specialized wheelchair to get around.
