Alikhan got sick a year and a half ago. Thanks to numerous examinations and tests, doctors discovered that he had aplastic ependyma, an extremely aggressive and rare tumor of the nervous system. The operation to remove it was performed at the N. N. Burdenko Clinic in Moscow. Alikhan underwent proton therapy in St. Petersburg, after which he was discharged home. A difficult illness and treatment left their mark on Alikhan's health. The left side of his body does not work well, speech is impaired, and shakiness is observed when walking.
