Misha was born at 38 weeks of pregnancy. Due to a difficult birth, he suffered from asphyxia, hypoxia, and a brain hemorrhage. From the very first day, his mother has been fighting for his health.
When Misha turned one, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. He couldn’t sit, crawl, or speak, and he was often sick. In Primorsky Krai, where the family lived, the treatment brought no results, and Misha’s condition was getting worse.
Only at the age of six did they find a rehabilitation center where Misha began to make real progress. He learned to move on all fours, stand up with support, keep his balance, use his hands more actively, and start speaking.
For the sake of Misha’s treatment, his mother and he moved to St. Petersburg. Misha’s mother is raising him alone and has devoted herself entirely to his recovery. Unfortunately, the family cannot afford the treatment on their own — they live on a disability pension and child care allowance.
Please help Misha undergo a new rehabilitation course and take another step toward his dream — to walk on his own!
