Islam is 4 years old. When Islam was two years old, his parents noticed that he was lagging behind his peers: he did not react to people, was not interested in the world around him, did not make a pointing gesture and did not contact other children. He lived in his own world. At the age of 2 years and 6 months, after numerous examinations, the neurologist diagnosed the boy with a disorder of mental and speech development (level 1 OND) with a disorder of behavior and emotions. Since then, Islam has been receiving treatment and undergoing regular rehabilitation courses. After the lessons, the boy showed significant improvements: he began to understand the spoken language, his behavior became calmer, an index gesture appeared, but speech has not yet developed. To further develop his speech, Islam needs to take additional classes, which are expensive, and his parents, unfortunately, cannot pay for them due to financial difficulties.
