The DROO "Life Without Tears" regularly educates over 250 children and adolescents with mental and physical disabilities. The students are supported by specialists including special education teachers, speech therapists, psychologists, applied behavior analysis specialists, a neuropsychologist, adaptive physical education teachers, and others. Among the students at the DROO "Life Without Tears" are children who have no speech or poorly developed speech. For these children, specialists have developed an alternative and augmentative communication (AAC). With its help, children and adults with autism, who often struggle to express their desires verbally, can construct complete sentences and phrases. Communication is essential for building relationships with others and expressing emotions and desires. Therefore, we ask for your help in purchasing AAC teaching kits. These kits will be used in the education of over 100 students at our school. Let's work together to support people with speech impediments and speech disorders.
