Julia (her name has been changed) became a mother at the age of 17. Even as a young girl, she ended up in an orphanage. Later, she found a foster family, but the news of her pregnancy was a complete shock and surprise for them. In such moments, every resource and support is crucial to help save the future of the mother and her child. Unfortunately, Yulia had no suitable living conditions for the baby: she had nowhere to stay, and she found herself homeless. Thanks to our help, starting September 2024, Yulia has been living in the Mother and Child House of the "Alisa" Foundation. This house has become a safe haven for her and her son, where she can feel secure, recover calmly, and plan her future. Like many other young mothers in difficult situations with their little children, Julia desperately needs our support. The Mother and Child House is their chance to keep their family, find stability, and emerge from crisis. Our home provides women with trust and assistance to find strength for a new beginning — psychological support, legal consultations, comfortable living conditions, and childcare.
