Matvey is an orphan from a children's home in the Khabarovsk Territory. The "He Needs You" Foundation brought the boy to Moscow for complex treatment that can help him overcome his congenital developmental disorders. The treatment is multi-stage, which is why Matvey has been staying in the capital.
In between hospitalizations, he lives in the "House for Children" social center. Here, he receives therapy from a speech therapist and a speech and language pathologist, who help him develop his speech, thinking, and communication skills. For children who have grown up without a family and have health issues, such classes are especially important: they help them understand the world around them, express their desires, and gradually learn to be independent.
The "He Needs You" Foundation organizes classes for specialists for orphans undergoing treatment, so that they do not fall behind in their development and can use the time between surgeries to their advantage.
