Demid is only three years old, but every day is a small victory for him. He was born prematurely, suffered intrauterine hypoxia, and was diagnosed with severe cerebral palsy, tetraparesis, and West syndrome. Because of this, the little one cannot hold his head up, sit, or crawl. But he has a loving family by his side who are doing everything they can to help him develop.
Despite these challenges, Demid is a very bright, sociable, and inquisitive child. He enjoys playing, listening to his mother's voice, exploring toys, and reacting to everything new around him. He thrives on movement and interaction, which gives him hope for great progress with proper rehabilitation.
Currently, Demid desperately needs a special head support—an orthosis that will support his head and neck. This will reduce muscle tension and allow him to fully participate in activities such as physical therapy, developmental games, and education. This is an important step in helping Demid move forward.
Support the fundraiser so Demid can more easily participate in classes, strengthen his muscles, and gradually master new movements.
