Vladislava is 10 years old. Drawing is her talent and hobby, and also a way to escape thoughts of her illness. On a blank sheet of paper, she depicts warm moments and her most beloved people, especially her mother.
Vladislava has a shortened right leg and is diagnosed with aseptic necrosis of the right femoral head (a pathological condition in which bone tissue dies in the head of the femur). At eighteen months, the difference in leg length was 2 cm; by age 10, it had increased to 20 cm.
Over the past eight years, the girl has undergone numerous tests and surgeries on both the shortened and healthy leg, but these have not produced lasting results. The difference in leg length has increased, the pain has intensified, and Vladislava's mobility has become increasingly limited. She now uses a walker. In March 2025, a new stage of treatment began at Dr. Kudzaev's clinic. A surgery was performed that lengthened her femur by 2 cm. Vladislav now needs another stage of surgery, aimed at lengthening her tibia.
We can help her complete the second stage of treatment and restore her ability to walk carefree and interact with friends, because life should be vibrant, especially in childhood.
