Thanks to you, Eva has completed her rehabilitation!

Eva is 6 years old and has cerebral palsy (spastic diplegia) and delayed psycho-speech development. At birth she suffered a brain hemorrhage and severe hypoxia, and doctors did not believe she would survive. But for six years her family has been fighting for Eva’s chance to walk and speak. Eva took her first steps at the age of three, holding on to the wall. Because of spasticity, keeping balance is difficult and she often fell. Regular rehabilitation — physical therapy, massage, swimming — brings steady progress: Eva now walks more confidently, climbs stairs and rarely falls. However, with CP her muscles need constant work, otherwise skills are quickly lost. At home, Eva is an ordinary child who loves dresses, princess games and her dolls. Eva now needs another course of physical therapy to strengthen her muscles and improve her gait. This is essential for her future independence: for now, every step she takes is supported by her mother. Help Eva get closer to her dream — to walk confidently and play with other children!
