Vladimir Fedorovich was born in 1934. At the age of 10, he witnessed Victory Day. His youth was spent rebuilding the devastated city of Novorossiysk, and his years in the navy were spent in the responsible work of a signalman. Saving children during a flood inspired his first poem—from then on, his entire life was dedicated to poetry. His heartfelt poems for children have warmed the hearts of readers for many years. He always generously shared his work, donating collections to schools and libraries.
Today, Vladimir Fedorovich is 91 years old. His low income no longer allowed him to print collections even in small print runs—all his funds were spent on basic needs, often not even enough for food.
Our foundation delivers hot meals to him daily and provides medical and social assistance. Thanks to this support, my grandfather saved money and printed a small print run of his new collection, which brought him great joy.
Currently, there's a simple but important household task: the flooring in his home needs to be replaced. The old wooden flooring has deteriorated, rotted, and doesn't provide the necessary warmth and comfort. Moreover, it poses a safety hazard.
