Sharapudin is 14 years old, already a grown man, his mother's protector and helper. Tests revealed a suspected blood cancer, myelodysplastic syndrome, and doctors immediately referred the boy to Moscow for a more precise diagnosis and further treatment. Sharapudin is currently undergoing treatment at Blokhin Hospital, where he has been prescribed a rare genetic test—whole genome sequencing—which will help identify gene mutations and choose a more effective treatment specifically targeting tumor cells.
