The fundraising campaign has been successfully completed

Fundación Kazakhstan

The fundraising campaign was initially opened for **Makpal Khabibulla**, who required surgery for the implantation of a neurostimulator. During the fundraising period, Makpal's family was able to fully cover the cost of the required treatment through donations received directly to their personal bank account, with the support of charitable donors. As a result, the neurostimulator implantation surgery was successfully performed, and there was no longer a need to continue raising funds for Makpal. At the same time, Makpal's younger brother, **Kairat Khabibulla**, was diagnosed with a tumor. Based on the initial examination in Astana, the tumor was believed to be benign. However, following further diagnostic examinations in Türkiye, he was diagnosed with **neuroblastoma**, an aggressive malignant cancer requiring immediate specialized treatment. A separate fundraising campaign was subsequently launched for Kairat, including one on the Tooba charitable platform. Since Makpal's treatment had already been fully financed by her family and there was no further need for fundraising on her behalf, it was decided to redirect the previously collected but unused funds to support the treatment of her younger brother, **Kairat Khabibulla**. Kairat is currently undergoing treatment, including a course of chemotherapy. We sincerely thank everyone who supported this family during this difficult time. Thanks to your generosity, the donated funds continue to be used exclusively for the medical treatment of a child in urgent need of lifesaving care. A copy of the payment confirmation showing the transfer of funds to the hospital is attached.

Fundraising for Spinal Cord Stimulator Implantation for 16-year-old Makpal

In November 2017, after a severe episode of nosebleeding, Makpal was hospitalized with critically low platelet levels and diagnosed with immune thrombocytopenic purpura. Despite hormone therapy and multiple lines of treatment, her platelet count continued to fall, and over the following years she developed persistent infections, recurrent bleeding, and a severe joint syndrome. In 2020, genomic sequencing in Turkey revealed a rare genetic disorder — Willebrand Disease Type 2B — which later became complicated by systemic lupus erythematosus and juvenile idiopathic arthritis, leading to joint deformities, multiple hand surgeries, and sensorineural hearing loss of the 4th degree. Numerous treatments, including heavy medications and gene-engineered therapies, failed to bring lasting improvement, and her condition continued to worsen. In 2025, Turkish specialists finally identified the underlying problem — Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy — and recommended spinal cord stimulator implantation, a procedure that is not available in Kazakhstan. This procedure will help eliminate tremors and pain in the arms and legs of Makpal. Help pay for the operation to install a neurostimulator.
