Daniyal is 7.5 years old. Born at 34 weeks, he was immediately admitted to intensive care. Doctors ignored his alarming symptoms for a long time. It wasn't until he was seven months old that he was diagnosed with West epileptic syndrome, which was accompanied by cerebral palsy.
Thanks to his family's persistence, the boy learned to hold his head up, crawl, and speak a few words. Remission was achieved at the age of two and a half. But the seizures returned. An unsuccessful medication change set his development back: Daniyal stopped speaking and understanding speech. The seizures now occur in his sleep and require emergency treatment.
