Abdullah has been treated!

Abdullah is a cheerful sixth-grader who loves kicking a ball around with his friends and dreaming about the future. His days were filled with laughter, energy, and ordinary boyish happiness. In the spring, Abdullah developed a persistent fever, shortness of breath, and terrible weakness. Doctors in Kyrgyzstan discovered fluid in the lining of his heart, and then in his lungs. He was diagnosed with lupus erythematosus, and for three months he was treated for the wrong disease. Valuable time was hopelessly lost. His family brought him to Moscow, where the diagnosis was announced: acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Now Abdullah must immediately begin chemotherapy. After months of struggling with this mistake, the family is exhausted emotionally and financially. They cannot raise the enormous sum for treatment on their own.
