Alina was born with multiple diagnoses. In the early years of his life, all his parents' efforts were devoted to eliminating more complex pathologies - heart disease, inguinal hernia, dissection of the soft and hard palate. Against the background of all this, the hearing problem has been secondary for a long time. - Doctors attributed this deficiency to a cleft palate, but when it was corrected, hearing did not appear, - says Alina's mother Elena. – It turned out that the reason lies in a congenital malformation of the middle ear. Now Alina is 8 years old, her hearing is significantly reduced on both sides. Because of this, she does not understand detailed speech, reacting only to familiar phrases –"walking," "swimming," "going to school." No matter how much she learns new words, she can't pronounce them correctly because she can't hear many sounds. This year, Alina went to a special class for the hard of hearing. She was delighted with the lessons, but she was even more pleased with the hearing aids she had recently tried on. As soon as they connected, Alina began to smile, gesturing to her mother that she could hear everything.
