Ilfat is a five-year-old boy, a little shy and serious, but at the same time caring and empathic beyond his years.
Ilfat doesn't let people in right away - he needs to get a closer look at the person first. "I think that he is not very sociable, because half of his life we spent in the hospital - no kindergarten, no classes," says his mother Indira.
The boy adores cars, he collects them. He is particularly fond of cars made in Russia - VAZ 2107, VAZ 2106, GAZelle, and Niva. This is the influence of his grandfather, whom the boy loves very much. "Ilfat asks us to sell the foreign car and buy a Russian car," his mother smiles. - Even his dream of becoming a policeman came about mostly because of the cars they drive."
Ilfat has acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He was diagnosed in 2018. After therapy, he managed to achieve remission, but two years later the disease returned. Now the boy needs a bone marrow transplant. This requires typing the child and potential donors. The family could not pay for the expensive treatment themselves - the illness had severely depleted their financial resources.
More than anything else in the world Ilfat dreams of going home - to his beloved grandfather and little sister. Let's all together help Ilfat to fulfill this dream and get better as soon as possible.
