Artemiy was born a healthy and strong boy. At 6 months he was ahead of his peers: he sat, crawled and even took his first steps. Health deteriorated after another vaccination against diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis. The neurologist diagnosed "hydrocephalus with the need for urgent surgery". The operation was unsuccessful and provoked a massive cerebral hemorrhage, due to which the boy spent several months in intensive care in critical condition. After that the doctors made disappointing diagnoses: hydrocephalus, syndrome of small consciousness, atrophy of the optic nerves and many others, also severe. Now Artemiy is 6 years old, and he learns everything from the very beginning: to hold his head, turn over, sit, speak. Continuous rehabilitations bring positive results: Artemiy began to roll over more actively, his back and support on his hands became stronger, his head control improved and new sounds appeared. The boy's brain must remember everything that he already knew, but lost. And for this Artemiy needs to undergo another rehabilitation course at Sakura Medical Center.
