Timur is 5 years and 9 months old. He doesn't speak and has difficulty responding to others. His development lags significantly behind his peers. Doctors diagnosed him with generalized speech underdevelopment (level 1) and behavioral and emotional disorder of the autism spectrum. After turning one year old, the child stopped adequately perceiving his surroundings, lost the ability to chew food, practically refused to walk independently, became irritable, reacted painfully to loud sounds, and often self-harmed by biting and hitting himself in the face. Currently, his mother is actively involved in her son's rehabilitation: the family regularly received treatment in the psychoneurological department of a hospital in Makhachkala and continues to attend special classes.
